Sansin Music performance in May

"~In Commemoration of Kiyoyuki Owan's Designation as Living  National Treasure~ The Beauty of Classical Music" 

The sanshin music of the Nomura and Afuso schools, which are currently being passed down, will be presented with a diverse mix of chants, solo singing, Ryukyuan dance and local songs.

In addition, in commemoration of Mr. Kiyoyuki Owan's certification as a Living National Treasure of Ryukyuan Classical Music in October 2023, the festival will be titled "The World of Mr. Kiyoyuki Owan" and will present the skillful and profound world of Ryukyuan classical music that Mr. Owan has cultivated.
