Project "Perfoming Arts of the Ajia Pacific” 

Traditional performing arts passed down across the sea to Taiwan     Nanguan

Traditional chamber music from Tainan City will be introduced among the diverse cultural arts of Taiwan.
Originally the traditional music of southern China, it was handed down by Taiwanese immigrants from Fujian Province around the 17th century and is still widely loved by the people of Taiwan, and was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009.
